Coffee tours from Bogotá
Two coffee farms southwest of Bogotá make a day trip: Hacienda Coloma in Fusagasugá, 59 km (37 miles) from the city, and El Nido Andino near La Mesa, 54 km (34 miles) away. A day there costs COP 60,000 to COP 75,000 per adult before transport.

Fusagasugá: Hacienda Coloma
Fusagasugá is 59 km (37 miles) southwest of Bogotá; the main road is Ruta Nacional 40, with an alternative through Sibaté. Hacienda Coloma, on Av. las Palmas toward Tibacuy, gives its own distance as 70 km (43 miles) from Bogotá.
The coffee tour runs every day at 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM, in Spanish or with a bilingual guide, and lasts about two hours. It costs COP 60,000 per adult with a minimum of four people. The hacienda also makes Coloma rum and coffee liqueur, and the tour ends with a taste of the liqueur in its shop.
The hacienda has two rooms and a cabin for guests; each night includes breakfast and the coffee tour.

La Mesa: El Nido Andino
La Mesa is 54 km (34 miles) southwest of Bogotá. El Nido Andino is a family coffee farm in the countryside between La Mesa and Cachipay, about 40 minutes from La Mesa town; the last 3 km (1.9 miles) are a rural road from the Colegio Ernesto Aparicio.
The coffee tour is an add-on to the farm's day pass. The day pass is COP 60,000 per adult with a snack, pool, jacuzzi and trails from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and the coffee tour adds COP 15,000. A guided cupping is COP 25,000. Without a car, the farm can help arrange a driver, paid separately.
